Cohousing 101 Class & Happy Hour with New Communities 2/29

Join Schemata Workshop principal and founder Grace Kim for Cohousing 101, an in-depth workshop session explaining the benefits of cohousing. Grace will be joined by Eva Otto of Infiniti Real Estate and Development, a full-service brokerage specializing in innovative housing solutions for the Greater Seattle area.

Following the workshop there will be short presentations by up-and-coming cohousing communities Skagit Cohousing and Seattle Urban Cohousing, with an opportunity for questions.

In the session Grace, architect and resident of Capitol Hill Urban Cohousing (CHUC) and widely recognized leader in the cohousing movement — will explore cohousing’s characteristics and impact, focusing on how it can build a more resilient community.

Eva Otto will discuss how cohousing communities acquire land and provide examples of current land opportunities. Eva will also explain shared ownership models and be available for property and title related questions.
